Over twelve years of relevant experience in university teaching – Chemical Engineering Dept. Elmergib University - Alkhoms, Libya. Eighteen published research papers in journals and conferences, and a textbook under processing. Bilingual (Arabic / English) and Recipient of a competitive Libyan Government’s State (English for Academic Purposes Certificate and Master of Science Degree) Scholarship (1995-1999). Recipient of a competitive Libyan Government’s State Doctorate of Philosophy Degree, Ph.D. Scholarship (2004-2009). Recipient of the International Graduate Student Competitive Scholarship Feb 2008 (IGSS) - Canada. HTC Purenegy Inc. Scientific Research, Development, and commercialization of the Laminar Jet and Stirred Cell Kinetics apparatuses (Designing, Assembling, and Operating for Commercial Purposes Work Experience Feb 2008- Jun 2009 for Norway). Jan 2012 – Sep 2012 Associate Dean of Graduate Studies for the Faculty of Engineering, Elmergib University - Alkhoms – Libya. Oct 2012 - Aug 2016; Executive Member of Elmergib University Faculty Staff Association - Alkhoms – Libya. Jun 23 - Jun 27, 2013 Quality Assessment Ministry Team Member to Sebhau University. Oct 2014 - Oct 2015 Visiting Professor - Sabbatical Leave Year / University of Waterloo, Canada - research work. Oct 2015 – To Date; Assistant Professor, Teaching Advanced Numerical Methods to Master Students at Engineering Faculty & Reservoir Engineering Simulation & Heat Transfer Course for undergraduates. Jan 2001 – Nov 2003, and Dec 2011 up until now; have been working as a lecturer of the Chemical Engineering Dept., Elmergib University - Alkhoms – Libya. Also was the Head of Department & Lecturer for both the Computer Science Departments of Almagoola High Institute - Suk Elkhames - Libya, and Mselata High Iinstitute - Mselata - Libya. Lately, Mar 2010 - Sep 2011 was working as a Postdoctoral fellow in Process Systems Engineering Dept., U of Regina (CO2 Kinetics / Mass Transfer, Experimental, and Modeling/Simulation Research Work). For the same period, worked as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Regina teaching (Advanced Numerical Methods ENGG 818) for two terms & (Advanced Transport Phenomena ENPC 845) for one term. Co-supervising two PhD students under Dr. R. Idem Mass Transfer/Kinetics CO2 Capture Research Team, at the ITC, U of Regina (May 2009 – Sep 2011), Co-authoring three Conference Abstracts, and six journal papers.
